The Research and Development Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") of Nippon Carbide Industries (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in January 2008. We boast strong technical force, specializing in research and development of reflective film, wrap film, laser markable film, functional thin film, various adhesives, vehicle color film, high quality glass beads, etc.. Relying on the Group's Research and Development Center, we have strong innovative ability and pioneering spirit.

The Center is based on the concept that technology makes our life brighter and safer, focusing on improving the solution to traffic road safety, serving various markets such as chemical, electronics, transportation, security and new energy and striving to be the leader of the industry frontier and the pioneer of important technological innovation in related industries. The Center has more than 50 fixed personnel in the R&D team, including 4 senior personnel from Japan, with a research area of more than 1,000 square meters. 

Our R&D Center is a Zhejiang Provincial Thin Film Material R&D Center and an Intellectual Property Room in Xiaoshan Economic and Technological Development Zone. Our core values include respecting everyone's opinion, taking "ONE - NCI" as the basis, following the spirit of cooperation of borderless technology exchange, strictly following the professional ethics of honesty and integrity, and developing products to satisfy the needs of customers and the society with the goal of SDGs. Based on innovation and communication, each R&D staff member grows continuously.

Always adhering to the scientific research spirit of enterprising and innovation, our Center has developed wide-angle prismatic films for highway signage;reflective film for motor vehicle number plates as well as reflective film  for high security motor vehicle number plates for special units such as the army, the armed police and the Department of Emergency Management; laser-etched film for motor vehicle VIN numbers, engine and other nameplates; food wrap for supermarkets; functional resins for special needs such as electronic products, medical products, and optical products.
